If I take sythroid will it hurt me to take adipex?

I have been on synthroid for about 1 year and I'm having a hard time keeping my weight down, my doctor tells me my TSH and t-3 and t-4 are fine, but I keep gaining weight.

1I am also taking synthroid and adipex and I asked my doctor and he said there wouldn't be any drug interactions. But there are problems with people taking adipex and having HYPERthyroidism.
