Adipex is an oral medication, used as an appetite suppressant. It should be used in association with diet, exercise, and lifestyle modification advice as a short-term aid in the management of obesity.
Adipex appetite suppressants are not a substitute for proper diet. For maximum effects, they must be used in conjunction with a diet and exercise program.
Adipex weight loss pills are best taken on an empty stomach one hour before meals. Because Adipex may cause sleeplessness, avoid taking a dose late in the day. Take Adipex as prescribed. Do not take it more often or longer than directed.
Some sideeffects are dry mouth, sleeplessness, irritability, stomach upset or constipation may occur the first few days as your body adjusts to Adipex. If these side effects persist or become troublesome, inform your doctor.
If you miss a dose of Adipex, do not double the next dose. Instead, ignore the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
Store Adipex at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture. Keep this and all medications out of the reach of children.
